John O’Donohue is CEO of PowerOasis and brings over 25 years of operational and strategic development experience in the wireless infrastructure sector. He spent 12 years with Motorola, growing the wireless networks business in Europe and Asia.
In 2003 he set-up Motorola Ventures in Europe, driving commercial & equity investments in over
twenty of Europe’s leading venture companies. He has served on the board of many venture backed companies, including Apertio prior to their acquisition by Nokia Siemens Networks and Sonaptic prior to their acquisition by Wolfsen Microelectronics.
He brings to PowerOasis deep domain knowledge and relationships in the wireless infrastructure sector, coupled with a wealth of experience in managing high growth technology companies.
He received his first degree in engineering from University College Dublin in 1985 and an MBA with distinction, from Imperial College London in 1993.
