John Margetts is the Group Head of Audit, Risk and Compliance, at Network International, where he reports to a Board-appointed Audit and Risk Committee. He is responsible for ensuring that the risks in the organization are subject to appropriate levels of control, and that business is conducted in line with the various regulations that govern it,
including scheme rules. He also has overall responsibility for Information Security.
John has over 40 years’ experience in the Financial Sector, having worked for US, European and Middle East organizations, including the Emirates NBD Group since 1998. He has held a number of senior positions in the Internal Audit and Regulatory Compliance units of Retail, Commercial and Investment Banks.
Additionally, he has experience in Human Resources Management, particularly in the area of Training and Development, where he is a Certified Talent Manager.
