John Keane is the Venture Partner at SCP Partners.
General Keane, a four-star general, completed 37 years in public service in December 2003, culminating as Vice Chief of Staff of the US Army. Currently he is a member of the Boards of Directors of MetLife, General Dynamics, MacAndrews & Forbes and Cyalume Technologies Holdings. He is a
member of the Secretary of Defense’s Policy Board, a trustee of the Rand Corporation, a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, Director of the George C. Marshall Foundation, Chairman of the Knollwood Foundation and Chairman of the Senior Executive Committee, Army Aviation Association of America.
General Keane graduated from Fordham University with a B.S. degree in accounting. He holds an M.A. degree in philosophy from Western Kentucky University. He is also a graduate of the Army War College and the Command and General Staff College.
