John Boitnott is a San Francisco-based columnist and contributor at Inc.com and Entrepreneur.com. He's a social media strategist and blogger who has worked as a journalist since 1994 at TV, radio, newspaper and Internet companies.
Boitnott worked at NBC Bay Area as a web editor and strategist from 2006 to 2009. He then moved to Village
Voice Media where he was Social Media Manager. In 2011 and 2012 he worked as the Vice President of Business Development at Hasai Inc., a social media marketing firm. Boitnott has written for several publications including Venturebeat, BusinessInsider and Fortune.
