Joe Webster

Joe Webster lives in the Washington, D.C. area and runs BD and marketing at SmartBrief. SmartBrief curates business news and information and delivers it via email, mobile and the web. He joined SmartBrief in early 2012 to expand the audience, partner and advertising base.

Prior to joining SmartBrief, Joe was in charge of U.S. business development at Storyful, the Dublin-based social news start-up. Before joining Storyful, Joe worked at the Associated Press for close to a decade where he led the effort to bring the AP into social media.

Joe is a member of the Online News Association, the National Press Club and attended the University of Kansas.
