An experienced executive, Joe has run multiple companies in various industries including consumer electronics, aerospace and investment banking. He joined Smartlabs, parent of INSTEON (IoT protocol and products) and Smarthome.com (online retailer of connected products) in 2012. During his time at Smartlabs, the company partnered with Apple,
Google/Nest and Microsoft among many Fortune 100 companies, launched an international platform of products, developed and expanded its retail base to over 3,000 locations, developed an array of new connected products and fortified its technology.
Prior to Smartlabs, Joe ran a composites aerospace company supplying composite interior structures to Boeing, Airbus, the military and many of the world’s airlines. Previous to that, Joe spent over a decade at various boutique investment banks leading transactionteams focusing on buyouts in the middle market.
Joe holds a B.S. from the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and an MBA from Pepperdine University.
