In his role as director of technology, Jerry manages Media Thirst's development team, conceptualizing, constructing, and advancing the underlying architecture that drives the company's products. As the lynchpin of Media Thirst’s technology department, Jerry builds out the product roadmap, conceptualizes new features, and assesses the
feasibility of development plans. Jerry provides insight into cutting-edge development techniques, identifying how emerging technologies and tools can help us meet client needs and fill gaps in the marketplace from a data acquisition and analysis perspective.
Before his work at Media Thirst, Jerry served as director of special projects at WMC Global, developing workflow applications for data acquisitions and frameworks for data storage, organization, and analysis. He also constructed front-end user tools and user management systems to facilitate easy client access to critical data. Originally a media analyst at WMC Global, Jerry quickly transitioned into developing and managing the company’s core data analytics function, architecting data and analytics capabilities that solidified WMC Global’s hold on the carrier environment and built trust within the compliance industry.
Jerry drove the development of WMC Global’s data warehouse for the carrier environment, creating the data marts that power the company’s products and services. Futhermore, he conceptualized and developed Guardian, WMC Global’s flagship fraud detection program that identifies red flags in transactional data, helps find and record instances of double-billing and rapid acquisition, and alerts clients to potentially fraudulent marketplace behavior. In addition to program development and data management, Jerry specialized in legal support, providing carrier consulting and working with outside council to deliver insight into carrier data.
Before joining WMC Global, Jerry interned at the German Marshall Fund conducting data analysis to identify and explain trends in 16 different countries for the Transatlantic Trends biannual survey. Jerry earned his MA in Political Science and his BA in International Affairs at James Madison University.
