Currently Jason leads JAIdeate Venture Studio (PT Jaideate Metaverse Warehaus) as venture partner. Through JAIdeate he incubates and invests in new media and generative AI startups in the Indo-Pacific region. As an investor and entrepreneur, Jason brings a depth of knowledge and experience from a three-decades-long career across Asia, including
Japan, China, Singapore, and Indonesia. He has an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business and also studied at CEIBS. In addition to founding one of China's first social enterprises and co-working spaces, Jason is also an accomplished writer with several books about China’s economy.His most recent book is called China 4.0 and he is also founder of the China Business Events meetup community which hosted more than 100 events and had 10,000+ members.
