Jaime Nack is president of Three Squares Inc., CEO of One Drop Interactive, and a board member of the UCLA Alumni Association.
She founded Three Squares, Inc., based on the concept that social, environmental and economic interests could be successfully balanced. Her first big break? Working with the 2008 Democratic National Convention. Nack
created a detailed sustainability plan for the event. With 90 hotels, thousands of visitors and an immense convention center, it took planning, creativity and lots of volunteer labor to minimize the ecological footprint. Nack so impressed the convention organizers that they recommended her to Al Gore. Nack has been involved in his Climate Reality Project ever since, traveling to China, Brazil and France as a presenter. These days she estimates about half of her company’s business comes from event greening. The other half is helping businesses build sustainability into their corporate cultures. Along the way, she founded the Women in Green Forum, served on a White House panel, and helped develop One Drop Interactive as a technology platform for sustainability.
