Ibrahim SOUA is an angel investor, serial entrepreneur, international expert in finance, investment, megaprojects and renewable energies, he holds an Engineer diploma from ENSIMAG: National School of Computer Science and
Applied Mathematics of Grenoble, as well as a Master in Management of Capital, Market Finance, Risk Management of CNAM and ESSEC. He previously followed his preparatory studies at IPEST: Preparatory Institute for Scientific and Technical Studies of Marsa.
He held several positions in the banking sector as a financial analyst, risk manager and project manager with several banking groups such as Société Générale, BNP Paribas, Dexia, HSBC and BPCE, he also held various positions of responsibility and management in the financial, logistics and international trade sector. He was appointed in 2012 investment and finance advisor to the Minister of Investment for International Cooperation in Tunisia, where he was in charge of various files related to megaprojects in Tunisia as well as the reform linked to the megaproject files , PPP and private investment, He was then appointed advisor to the Head of Government MEHDI JOMAA in 2015, which he was responsible for the major investments file. He was called by Habib JEMLI in November 2019 as an expert to develop the government program and lead the talks around the program with the different political parties as well as the different stakeholders.
From a young age, he was involved in civil society. He started as an active member in the Young Sciences Club of Mahdia where he led several Workshops and developed his love for science and Mathematics. He co-founded the AIDIMM association in France working for the development of crowdfunding. He was also one of the co-founders of the French Council of Islamic Finance in Paris where he was elected Vice-President, experience during which he participated in the work of drawing up tax instructions on the Mourabaha, istisna and Ijara within the technical commission appointed by Christine LAGARDE within Paris EUROPLACE. He also co-founded the association Espace Savoir et Synergie which worked to support executives from immigrant backgrounds in France where he held the position of Treasurer. He is also very involved in entrepreneurship, he has coached and supervised several entrepreneurs and startups in the United States, France, Ireland, and Africa. He was also active in the ENSIMAG alumni association in Paris where he developed his enthusiasm for entrepreneurship. It is also a Serial-Entrepreneurs having founded and co-founded a dozen companies in France, United Kingdom, Tunisia and around the world including VIFCO a consulting firm specializing in finance and megaprojects founded in 2015 and which is evolving internationally. He holds a Leadership Academy for Development certificate issued by MSB in partnership with CIPE and Stanford University as well as an Islamic Banker Certificate issued by CIBAFI in Bahrain. Ibrahim SOUA is also passionate about olive growing, he revived the traditional oil mill of his great-grandfather, figure Hadj ALI SOUA at KSAR HELAL-CHERAHIL, he thus participated in the promotion of Tunisian Olive Oil in around the World as well as ancestral Tunisian know-how in the field.
