Hua Yang is the CEO and a cofounder of Redrock Biometrics. Before starting Redrock, Hua was the Director of Research and Principle Software Engineer at Leap Motion. As employee number one, he made key contributions to the development of Leap Motion's breakthrough gesture control technology. Before that, Hua worked at Kitware developing open
source solutions used by thousands of physicians and medical imaging researchers. Hua Received a PhD in Computer Science from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Hua has published more than 20 peer-reviewed papers in Computer Vision and Augmented Reality.
