Founder and Managing Director of RM and RMA, specializes in private equity and investment banking with 32 years of experience. Hideki's generalist industry coverage includes life sciences, consumer products and services / retail, and industrial biotechnology.
From July 2003 to March 2008, he was appointed as Special Advisor to Governor
of Osaka for International Business Affairs. He is Managing Member of TTC-RMA Venture Partners, LLC, a joint venture investment vehicle between RMA and Toyota Tsusho Corporation (Toyota Group's trading company). Hideki is also a board member of Diversified Natural Products, an industrial biotech/functional foods company.

His management / banking book "New York Style, A Big Company with Just 5 People" was published in 2001 by Aki Shobo. Hideki also published a book "Good-bye, Greedy Capitalism" in June 2008 by Aki Shobo. Hideki has previously held senior positions at Goldman Sachs. Prior to Wall Street, he was a banker in Tokyo at Sumitomo Bank (SMBC).
Hideki received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Economics from Waseda University, and was also a Visiting Professor at Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussees Graduate School of International Business, where he taught Corporate Restructuring.
