Gregory Connor is a practicing radiologist and current President of ARA Diagnostic Imaging in Austin, Texas. ARA, with about 120 radiologists, owns and manages 17 outpatient imaging centers and provides professional services for 22 area hospitals in Central Texas.
Gregory Connor is passionate about advancing patient care and medical imaging in the
state of Texas. He has served the Texas Radiological Society in various positions, including as Counselor to the American College of Radiology, Chief Counselor, Treasurer, and Chair of the Legislative Committee. Gregory Connor also served as a member of the Board of Strategic Radiology from 2013 to 2018.
He graduated magna cum laude with a bachelors from the Woodrow Wilson School of Public Policy of Princeton University. He received his Medical Doctorate degree from the Medical University of South Carolina, graduating salutatorian. He completed an internship at Brackenridge Hospital in Austin, Texas, and did his residency at the Russel H. Morgan Department of Radiology at Johns Hopkins Hospital, where he served as chief resident. He completed a fellowship in musculoskeletal radiology at Duke University. As chief of radiology at the recently-opened University of Texas Dell Medical School in Austin, Gregory Connor promotes new areas of academic research and clinical innovation in radiology.
