I have over 35 years of experience in international traditional and digital capital markets having had senior executive roles in securities lending, derivatives, corporate finance, structured finance, hedge fund management and compliance at organizations in Toronto, London and New York. Over that time, I founded and operated four
broker/dealers in the UK and Canada and advised on traditional and digital capital raisings and structures for clients in the US, Canada, UK, Eastern Europe and Africa.
Since mid-2016 I have focused solely on the digital asset markets – financing, legal and regulatory issues, compliance, structuring, tax, and fund management. I am active in blockchain industry legal and regulatory groups, including the Wall Street Blockchain Alliance, Global Blockchain Convergence and Wharton Reg@Tech. I am a frequent speaker on panels relating to blockchain, regulatory, DeFi and the merging of the traditional and digital.
