Greg Buerk is the Chief Technology Officer of LabTech Software and the original architect and developer of the LabTech Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) solution. Greg’s passion for experimenting with programming began when he was young and over time he has become proficient in over 20 programming languages and developed hundreds of
applications.
From Greg’s first days as an IT service provider, he sought alternatives to help simplify the support of multiple small businesses from a single location. Greg’s focus on this challenge led to his becoming a pioneer in the IT managed services field.
Greg has first-hand experience in the IT services industry includes managing his own MSP business and running an ISP with over 5,000 customers.
He has direct experience in network engineering and infrastructure management, in addition to customer support. As one of the founding members of LabTech Software, Greg has been involved in almost every operational area of the company and has worked on coding, quality assurance, web site and infrastructure development, and systems engineering.
Greg currently leads the Development and Quality Assurance departments at LabTech Software and focuses on steering the direction of the application’s core development. Greg has a true passion for developing automation processes through scripting and revels in finding solutions for real-world problems that can be resolved using LabTech.
