Gleb is an entrepreneur and investor, and a Founder and General Partner at Thundermark Capital, a New York and San Francisco based Venture Capital firm that invests in Seed, Series A, and Series B rounds of companies focusing on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Robotics and other hard tech ideas.
A former quant at Goldman Sachs, Gleb worked alongside Peter Thiel on a number of ventures, including Palantir, where he helped grow their finance division, and Clarium, where he managed risks of Peter's $6 billion global macro portfolio. Gleb co-founded Authy Inc. (acquired by Twilio), a cloud security firm, and led the company as its Chief Executive Officer through Y Combinator program, technology and product development, angel round of funding, and customer acquisition. Gleb was also a Founding Managing Partner and Chief Operating Officer at a $5 million early stage venture capital fund created by Y Combinator partners, where he led fund formation, negotiated the Limited Partnership Agreement with investors, as well as supervised legal, audit, and accounting relationships. Later Gleb, together with Uber founder Oscar Salazar, lead a team of technologists as Vice President of Research and Development at Ride, the New York-based technology company funded by TPG Growth--the global private investment firm with more than $7 billion in assets under management. In 2016 Ride's holding company, vRide, was acquired by Enterprise Holdings.
Gleb holds a Bachelor of Science degree (double major in Computer Science & Aerospace Engineering) from Moscow State University, a Master of Science degree (double major in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science and Finance) from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and is now doing his MBA for Executives (double major in Finance and Strategy) at The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania (Class 2017). Gleb is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and an Energy Risk Professional (ERP).
