Gaurav Kumar is the Head of Global Key Wealth Accounts - EMEA and Asia at Principal Asset Management.
Gaurav joined Principal Global Investors in June 2013 as Managing Director. His key responsibility is to build the fund distribution business in the Middle East and Asia. Before joining PGI, Gaurav was a Partner at a boutique alternative
investment company focused on the MENA region. Prior to this, he was the Chief Executive Officer and a Member of the Board of Directors for Eastspring Investments Limited (formerly known as Prudential Asset Management Limited) in Dubai, where he was responsible for setting up and managing Prudential’s Fund activities locally and across the region. He has over eighteen years of work experience and was with the Prudential Group for more than ten years, starting his career with M&G Investments in London. In his last few assignments with Prudential he worked as Head of Portfolio Management for Asia based in Singapore, prior to which he was Head of Product & International Business for Prudential ICICI, India.
