Gabriele Moretti was born in 1971 in Turin. He studied at Politecnico of Turin, where he graduated in Engineering Management and Industrial Engineering. During his university period, he also had the chance to spend six months studying at the Technische Univerisiteit of Eindhoven. He graduated in 1995, after his comeback to Italy. During the same
year, he earned his Engineer professional qualification. He has been for more than ten years Vice President of Aigest (Engeneering Management Association) and in 1996, he founded Contacta. Alongside his entrepreneurial activity, he continues his studies to keep himself updated: he took courses based on Analytics Edge, Big Data and Social Physics at the MIT of Boston. The latest he attended is the AI course organized by the Columbia University. In 2016 Gabriele Moretti became a specialized business and organization strategic consultant for small and medium sized companies, focusing on Customer Care as well as on AI applicability to operational processes. His interest in being constantly updated is visible through his reading of specialized magazine, such as Nature, Science, Wired and American Scientific that write about his favorite issues: strategy and management, electronics, physics, IT, machine learning and data science. Gabriele Moretti is also an art collector and he is passionate about architecture and design.
