After 10 years at Rafael as chief engineer, Federico Singer founded Singer Instruments and Control in 1976. In its early days, the company focused on developing high end sensors for a wide range of industries. In 1981 Federico moved to the US, to join a US electronics company, and handed over control of Singer Instruments & Control to his son
Yuval. After a year, Federico formed a company in the US which provided high-end systems to clients in North America. In 2012 Federico returned from the US and rejoined the company. Throughout the years Federico developed a wide range of sensors and systems for clients all over the world. Sensors such as LVDTs, magneto-strictive position sensors, speed, force, liquid level, density, inclination, torque, patented Auto-Zero inclinometers and many more.
Federico holds a B.Sc and M.Sc in Mechanical Engineering from the Technion.
