Ellen is a co-founder of the firm with over 20 years of experience in software development.
As Executive Vice President of Engineering, Ellen manages the development and delivery of the applications and services components of ByAllAccounts’ patented reconciliation-ready data subscription offering.
Prior to co-founding ByAllAccounts in
1999, Ellen was a Consulting Software Engineer at HighGround Systems where she worked as lead database engineer and senior individual contributor.
Previously, Ellen held individual contributor and project leadership roles at Datamedic Clinical Systems, including development on an NIST ATP grant project to automate ICD9 and CPT coding of patient encounters based on the clinical record.
Ellen began her career at Digital Equipment Corporation, where she worked as a software engineer and project leader, first in the Commercial Languages and Tools group, and subsequently in the Database group. Her development work at DEC includes compilers, CASE tools, and CDD/Repository.
Ellen holds a master’s degree in Software Engineering from the Wang Institute of Graduate Studies and a bachelor’s degree in Computer and Information Science from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
She enjoys duplicate bridge, researching family genealogy, and expanding her perennial and vegetable gardens.
