Elizabeth spent the early days of her career in the oilfield services and software development industries, and she is now responsible for directing all aspects of the leading multi-brand retail business in the state, providing innovative energy solutions and energy-related products to about two million homes and businesses. She started her NRG
career at Reliant in 2002 after working for two years as a consultant, helping prepare the company’s wholesale and retail businesses for electricity deregulation in Texas.
In more than a decade at Reliant, she has taken on increasing responsibility across the retail business and helping guide the company through the game-changing environment in a newly deregulated market. Prior to joining Reliant, Elizabeth spent 10 years with Arthur Andersen Business Consulting working with companies across the U.S., Norway and London.
Elizabeth is a fourth-generation Texan and has deep roots as a leader for many impactful organizations in the community. She is listed in the 2013 Who’s Who in Energy in Houston and was honored in the Houston Business Journal’s 2013 Power Book. She chairs the March of Dimes Houston Division 2014 March for Babies. She serves on the University of Houston Energy Advisory Board and on the boards of directors for the March of Dimes Houston Chapter, the Center for Hearing and Speech, the North Texas Commission and the Greater Houston Partnership. In addition, she volunteers as School Board Vice Chair for Epiphany Lutheran School in Houston and mentors college students for the Newspring Center for Social Entrepreneurship and Business Nurturing.
Elizabeth attended high school in Houston, attended Houston Baptist University and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Houston. She is also a homemaker, passionate about her role as wife and mother and enjoys spending time with her family.
