Edward (Ted) Moffly cofounded Hygea in 2007 and is an officer and director. He is the former CFO of IP Gear (OTCQX), an enterprise VoIP company. In that role he engineered the acquisition of Quasar/BOS, an Israeli VoIP gateway company, brought the company public via a downstream merger, and structured major contracts with companies such as
Siemens and Excel.
Before his work at IP Gear, Mr. Moffly founded and served as CEO of SpinNetworks, a security software company based in Toronto, Canada and Belo Horizonte, Brazil and was the founder COO and later CFO of Denarii Systems a US based processor for Visa and MasterCard. Mr. Moffly was also the CEO of Synergyx, an international IP integration company, which designed, built, and managed IP networks. While at Synergyx, he implemented one of the first fully compliant HIPAA networks on a Cisco platform for healthcare clients throughout the United States. Ted did his undergraduate work at Columbia University and has an MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago.
