Dr. Xiaolin Wang is the key inventor of Axis core technology. He has held key roles in successful startups, and has over 20 years of experience in semiconductor and electronics system design.
Before joining Axis as a cofounder, Dr. Wang worked for Analog Devices as the Chief Technologist of the Mobile TV Joint Design Laboratory, a collaboration
project between Analog Devices and Legend Silicon in Shanghai China. Prior to that role, Dr. Wang was a Senior Staff Engineer in the High Speed Signal Processing Business Unit, where he worked on various large-scale digital system and IC development projects for different applications including Wireless LAN, Cable Modem, etc.
Prior to joining Analog Devices, Dr. Wang worked at the networking company Axiowave as the Chief Switch Architect. At Axiowave, he was responsible for the overall hardware architecture of a patented core router design that enables the construction of a packet network with guaranteed bandwidth, delay and packet drop rate.
He also worked at Digital Equipment Corporation and a number of telecommunications start-ups.
Xiaolin Wang has a MSEE and a PhD from University of Arizona at Tucson. He received his BS in Physics from Fudan University in Shanghai.
