Dr. Abida serves as Vestec's Executive Director of Engineering and Research. He is responsible for the design and development of our core technology, the implementation of major natural speech projects, and several research projects related to speech decoding and conversational language understanding.
Dr. Abida received his MSc and PhD
degrees from the University of Waterloo. His main areas of research are speech recognition, natural language understanding, and computational intelligence.
