Dirk Richter was the Senior Advisor with the Department of Health Abu Dhabi, responsible for the Department of Health HealthTechHub team in HUB71 (www.hub71.com), Abu Dhabi’s startup acceleration ecosystem. Dirk and HealthTechHub team
promote innovators in commercializing their HealthTech products and services in Abu Dhabi, MENA region and beyond.
Dirk is also part of creating Technology Innovation Pioneers Program (TIP, www.tip.gov.ae) (TIP Healthcare) that includes a healthcare challenge platform, award, summit and many other activities to create an Ecosystem for innovation
Before assuming his current role, Dirk was working as management consultant with A.T. Kearney, head of mergers & acquisitions in a private hospital group, board member in big hospitals and as a trauma surgeon in Europe.
