Derek is the CEO of MWEB. His career began in the financial services industry and since joining MWEB in 1998, he has had over 10 years of general management experience in various areas of the business. In this time MWEB has evolved from a dial-up provider focused on the residential market to a fully-fledged telecommunications company operating in

both the consumer and small business markets. He took over as CEO of the ISP business in 2009. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from Rhodes University.
