David Pollington is the Head of Services at the GSMA, providing technical & strategic steer across a number of GSMA's programmes including Mobile Connect, a worldwide x-MNO authentication & identity service which a user manages via their mobile phone. Prior to joining the GSMA, David was part of the Vodafone R&D leadership,
instrumental in driving many of the key technology transitions across the industry as mobile devices evolved from pure telephony devices to the smartphones of today and generating new revenue opportunities for Vodafone. David graduated from Imperial College, London with a Masters degree (MEng) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering and has more than 20 years' experience in the mobile industry.
