David Olson is the developer and programmer of PFA's software systems. He co-founded FYSYL Capital in May 2005. He is also a Managing Director of Breakwater Investment Group, LLC in Newport Beach, CA. Prior to joining FYSYL Capital and Breakwater Investment Group, he was Director of Systems and Operations for Denali Advisors, LLC, a money
management firm in San Diego, CA. He researched and developed software for Denali Advisors' factor based quantitative equity forecasting model. Mr. Olson was formerly the Director of Systems Development at Haugen Custom Financial Systems, where he developed models and software for forecasting equity returns, asset allocation, and risk control. He has an MBA in Finance and a B.S. in Information and Computer Science from the University of California at Irvine. Mr. Olson has 17 years of industry experience.
