David Nye has been named as Dresser-Rand’s Vice-President of Product Management and Systems Engineering. Previously, Dr. Nye served as the Vice President, Technology since January 2014.
Dr. Nye has been with Dresser-Rand since 1995 with previous experience at United Technologies/Carrier Corp. and General Motors/Allison Gas Turbine
Division. He has held various positions within Dresser-Rand in the areas of Research and Development, Operations Engineering, Process Innovation, and Aftermarket Business Development. He is also the author of several technical papers on Turbomachinery and Combustion.
Dr. Nye earned his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University with a sponsored research fellowship from the Air Force Office of Scientific Research and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Clarkson University.
