A native of Middle Tennessee, David is a graduate of Vanderbilt University and brings 28 years of investment experience to his Avondale clients.
David began his investment career with Merrill Lynch. In 1986, he moved to New York and joined Oppenheimer & Company, providing institutional–type advice for high net worth investors. He then joined
First New York Securities in 1990, where he became a partner of the firm. In 2000 he joined Greenwich CT based ETG LLC, where he both managed a trading desk and launched the firm’s Tennessee operations.
In 2006, he founded his own firm, ChurchStreet Advisors, LLC, a fee-only based Registered Investment Advisor, where he continued to assist high net worth investors with asset allocation and investment strategies.
David serves as President of the Franklin Downtown Neighborhood Association and as a trustee on the Board of the Heritage Foundation of Franklin and Williamson County. He is a member of Franklin United Methodist Church and the Franklin Breakfast Rotary Club.
