David Marr was newly appointed to the role of Chief Financial Officer in early February 2014. Prior to this he was the General Manager Corporate Finance, since November 2013, and beforehand held the position of General Manager Finance for Woolworths Supermarkets since December 2011.
Prior to joining Woolworths, David was Supply Chain
Director – Non Food at Tesco plc, UK, prior to which he was UK Commercial Finance Director for almost three years.
David’s background includes a number of senior Finance and Sales Director roles in several leading Australian corporates including Fosters and API, having started his career in the accounting firm KPMG.
David is a graduate of the University of New England and is a qualified Chartered Accountant.
David is married with two children.
