David Mard brings to Accurate Background more than 20 years of experience in technical environments across a variety of industries, including 15 years in technology management roles. Throughout his career, Mr. Mard has held a number of leadership positions including Board of Director member, corporate secretary, CIO, IT Director, and PMO Director.
He has also held Consultant, DBA, and System Analyst and Developer positions.
Prior to joining Accurate Background, Mr. Mard coordinated the design, development, and implementation of IT solutions at such companies as Deloitte & Touche Tax Technologies, United Technologies-Pratt & Whitney Aircraft, and American Power Conversion. He served as the Vice President of Information Technology at GroupEx, where he led his department in the support, improvement, and enhancement of a multi-national operational system.
Most recently, Mr. Mard was the Vice President of Engineering & Technology at Coinstar Money Transfer (CMT). In this role, he managed the technology integration of Coinstar with GroupEx, and built an effective international team supporting operations in 140 countries.
As Vice President of Technology & Engineering at Accurate Background, Mr. Mard is responsible for overseeing the product development, programming and technology departments to ensure timely delivery of technology enhancements and system integrations.
His strong technology management background is instrumental in our continuous objective to develop leading technology that is designed with the latest security protocols and simplifies the background screening process for our clients. Mr. Mard earned his MBA from Vanderbilt University with concentrations in Electronic Commerce and Operations management.
