David Johnson is Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer of 4D Global Energy Advisors, since April 2012. Immediately prior, he was an advisor and intermediary in the private equity secondary market, and previously was involved with a number of entrepreneurial ventures including leading a VC funded Internet start-up. In the early 1990's,
he was International Finance Director of Canal+, a Paris-based media group, and before that he worked in the consumer and investment banking divisions of Citibank in Milan and New York.
