David Herndon is a banking executive with over 30 years of experience in all phases of community bank management including 22 years as President and Chief Executive Officer of a Kansas City, Kansas bank. In addition, he served as the Chief Operating Officer for his bank’s parent holding company. In that role, he was responsible for all regulatory
reporting and compliance matters and was instrumental in establishing a de novo bank for the holding company in 2000.
David began his banking career while a high school senior working part-time as a paying and receiving teller with a Kansas City, Kansas bank. He ultimately earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Baker University. He also graduated from the Bank Administration Institute’s School Banking at the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
