David Edmondson co-founded eRecylingCorps and serves as the firm’s Chief Executive Officer. David’s strategic vision and passion identified the need to make bold changes to the current wireless device lifecycle model in order to address the growing problem of e-waste, sparking the development of the company.
David brings more than 25 years
experience in large scale retail and mass merchandising to eRecyclingCorps. He started his marketing and distribution career with ADVO (a direct mail marketing distribution company) in 1983. During his 11 years with the company, it grew from $50M in sales to $1.1B and went public.
David left ADVO to become the Vice President of Marketing for RadioShack in 1994. During the next 11 years, RadioShack nearly doubled in revenue and David moved to the role of President and Chief Executive Officer before leaving in February 2006. David then turned his sights toward entrepreneurial endeavors and founded EasySale, Inc. (a consumer services firm brokering internet based sales transactions) in March 2007.
David earned his ThG in Theology from Pacific Coast Baptist Bible College and completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.
