David de Buck is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Chairman of the Management Board and the Executive Committee. He joined Intertrust as CEO in 2009, under Fortis ownership. Before his appointment as CEO of Intertrust in 2009, David was CEO of Fortis Lease Group. Earlier in his career, David held leadership roles in the areas of commodity
finance and trading as well as global responsibilities for energy & utilities and telecom, media & technology sectors at Fortis and ING Bank. He was Supervisory board member of Fortis Groenbank and Director of the European Carbon Fund. His career spans 26 years of international experience in the financial services industry in Amsterdam, Brussels, Paris, Geneve, London and Hong Kong. David holds a BBA from the University of Nyenrode, Breukelen, The Netherlands.
