David Dai is an Associate based in GGV's Shanghai office, focusing on investments in the Technology sector. Prior to GGV, David was an Investment Associate at Shanghai Alliance Investment Ltd., a leading high-tech venture capital firm in China, where he worked on that firm's early stage technology portfolio assisting with more than $30
million in investment transactons. David's business experience crosses multiple sectors, including energy and materials. He was involved in investments at Oriental DreamWorks, Shanghai Environment and Energy Exchange while a Supervisor at Atlas Ventures, a well-known venture capital firm based in China.
David holds M.Sc. in Economics and Finance from University of Edinburgh. In his spare time, David enjoys mixed martial arts and photography.
