David Black is VP Development at Wesley Clover. His role is to assist the entrepreneurial teams in product definition, development and problem solving.
David holds BSc. and MSc. degrees in Electronic Engineering from Queen's University Belfast. David has held a variety of engineering roles, including over 20 years experience in
n developing Digital Transmission Systems with BNR / Nortel. Subsequently, at Newbridge Networks Corporation, David initially managed Hardware R&D, then headed up Project Management of several large customer accounts, before becoming Vice President of Synchronous Transport Network division . Subsequently he formed the Emerging Business Group, where he launched several new business initiatives, four of which became successful businesses.
He joined Wesley Clover in early 2011 and has assisted in the evolution of several Wesley Clover companies.
