David Baker, Fellow at Eta Compute, develops asynchronous processors, standard logic and energy constrained applications. Prior to Eta Compute, Dr. Baker was director of software and systems at Ambiq Micro developing low-power Arm Cortex-M microcontrollers and supporting circuits. Before Ambiq Micro, he has held a number of Founder, Vice President
and Director positions at Firefly CPU LLC, Green Hills Software, On Demand Microelectronics, Legerity, Inc., SigmaTel, Inc., Billions of Operations Per Second (BOPS), Equator Technologies, Brooktree, Compaq Computers, and IBM. Dr. Baker earned his bachelor's degree in electrical and electronics engineering from New Mexico State University, and both his master's and doctorate degrees in electrical and electronics engineering from The University of Texas at Austin. He currently has been issued more than 40 patents.
