Mr. Whittington joined Penson Financial Services in 2006 to help develop Penson's high performance trading and market data infrastructure. Working closely with clients, he helped deliver a high throughput, low latency execution platform for high-frequency traders. Later, he acted as software architect for real-time clearing and back-office
solutions. In October, 2013, Mr. Whittington took over the leadership of the software development team.
