Dave Taylor has been in the computer industry since 1980 and has been online since before the beginning of the Internet. Some say that it wasn't Al Gore but Dave who actually invented the Internet, but he denies it.

Dave has a number of academic credentials including a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University of

California, San Diego, a Master's in Education from Purdue University, and a Master's in Business Administration from University of Baltimore, Merrick School of Business.

On the business side, he has created and launched four Internet related startups, the first of which was The Internet Mall. The original one. Dave also serves on the board of a number of different small companies and has also worked with various investment and venture capital firms in a variety of roles, including entrepreneur in residence.

Dave has also published twenty books and thousands of magazine and newspaper articles. Today he continues to write both online and off, including in the Boulder Daily Camera, the Boulder Weekly, Linux Journal, and Colorado Business Magazine.

Dave is a frequent and award-winning public speaker who attends lots of trade and professional conferences every year. He's hosted large conferences, given dozens of keynote talks, moderated panels, argued on panels, and done just about every other job necessary to keep a conference running smoothly. He teaches at a variety of colleges and private institutions.

Today Dave splits his time between free tech support on AskDaveTaylor, fatherhood and parenting discussions on the popular GoFatherhood and film reviews on DaveOnFilm.com site.
