As an Investment Associate at Innovation Works (IW), Dave Lishego assists the CIO in managing the many transactions that occur within Innovation Works’ portfolio of companies on a day-to-day basis. His responsibilities include supporting due diligence on prospective investment opportunities, assisting IW’s in-house Legal Counsel, helping to
maintain follow-on investor relationships, and managing investment and portfolio related databases.
Prior to joining IW, Dave served as an Associate Intern for BlueTree Capital Group while pursuing his MBA at the Carnegie Mellon University Tepper School of Business. At BlueTree, he was involved with all aspects of the investment process including deal sourcing, screening, and due diligence. His primary focus was conducting market and financial due diligence on prospective investments and generating comprehensive due diligence reports for BlueTree’s network of investors.
Prior to attending business school, Dave worked in the acoustics and electromagnetics research group at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory and served as a consultant at Metropolitan Acoustics, a boutique acoustical consulting firm.
Dave earned an MBA with University Honors from the Carnegie Mellon University Tepper School of Business and a B.S. in Physics from the Pennsylvania State University.
