Mr. Carberry has served as our Chief Financial Officer since March 2008. Prior to joining Aldagen, Mr. Carberry served with Johnson & Johnson and its subsidiaries and divisions in a variety of financial positions from 1981 to February 2008. Most recently, Mr. Carberry served as Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer of Johnson
& Johnson*Merck Consumer Pharmaceuticals Co. from March 2005 to September 2006 and as Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer of Johnson & Johnson Health Care Systems Inc. from 1995 to February 2005. Concurrently, Mr. Carberry acted as Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer of Independence Technology, Inc., a division of Johnson & Johnson, from September 2004 to September 2007. Mr. Carberry received a Master of Business Administration degree from Drexel University and a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from LaSalle College. Mr. Carberry is a Certified Management Accountant.
