Darren Bell is the co-founder of MobiCity and related City brands and has launched the brands successfully in Australia, New Zealand, the UK and Europe and North America. He has 14 years experience in engineering and information technology across a diverse set of industries including automotive, telecommunications and online retail. His previous
experience includes founding and selling a successful engineering consultancy and founding and selling a successful MVNO.
Darren's experience is on a global level having lived and worked in the UK for six years with engineering and consulting roles in Europe and the USA. This included leading a team in the luxury V engine diesel development program for Land Rover and Jaguar and porting the technology to the USA. He has been integral in implementing the operations and technology behind the MobiCity brand and building the business from a home office creation to a $20m per year global brand with offices in the UK, Australia, Hong Kong, Pakistan, the Philippines and China.
Darren enjoys motor racing, rugby and sailing and lives in Brisbane, Australia with his wife and two children.
