Darin Douglass is a Public Safety Communications Administrator for the Mesa Police Department in Mesa, Arizona. Darin has 27 years of experience working within dispatch operations from dispatching officers to managing the 911 Center. Along with being an operations manager, he also manages the deployment and encryption of almost 1300 portable radios
and 500 mobile radios supporting 840 sworn officers and 455 civilian employees in the Mesa Police Department. Darin oversees the Department’s emergency communications trailer which deploys to preplanned events, emergency events, and with the Arizona Child Abduction Response Team. Darin also acts as the liaison with the Department’s IT section regarding CAD, is an Arizona State certified Com-L, and is a Com-T candidate.
