Danny Golnik is an entrepreneur with background in computer science and international trading. Danny started his business career in 2009, focusing on import/export and supplies for the construction industry. His spells in the road construction and agriculture sectors, bridging the gaps in technology and know-how between Canada and Eastern
European countries, allowed him to understand the opportunities and challenges of advancing innovation in industries dominated by large oligopolies. It was during this time that he founded Orchidea Group, a wine and spirits distribution and consulting company focused on advancing innovative products in the beverage alcohol industry.
In early 2015, Danny decided to focus on growing Orchidea Group and expanded his distribution business to Quebec. In September 2015, Danny stepped on as the Vice President of Direct Global / Direct Co-ops after meeting the company President CEO Ahmed Attia. They spent the next 4 years building out both the networks and the platform, bringing together all the pieces that would give birth to the Direct Global / Direct Co-ops platform.
Danny holds a BSc degree in Computer Science, which greatly contributed to his ability to manage and supervise the development of the Direct Co-ops online marketplace platform and the Direct Local mobile app. As the Vice President, Danny handles the day to day operations of the company.
