Daniel Glass is the Founder and President of Glassnote Entertainment Group, an independent music company that began in 2007 which includes Glassnote Records and Insieme Music Publishing. Glassnote is home to Grammy Award winning Phoenix, multi-platinum selling Mumford & Sons, Childish Gambino, CHVRCHES and many more. Glassnote has been named
the "#1 Independent Label" by Rolling Stone and Billboard Magazines.
An avid marathon runner and dedicated philanthropist, Daniel began his career as a DJ in NYC before working at SAM Records, Chrysalis and SBK Records. He later became President and CEO of EMI Records Group N.A., then founding President of Universal, and President of Artemis Records before eventually starting Glassnote.
Daniel's career has been marked by such success with artists' Billy Idol, Wilson Phillips, Sinead O'Connor, Blur and more. Accolades include MUSExpo's International Music Person of the Year, SESAC's Music Visionary of the Year, one of THR's Pop Top Hitmakers, and a recurring honoree on the Billboard Power 100.
