Dan Wangler has worked in sales for nearly 30 years, beginning his career at Xerox Corporation Sales Agency as an account executive in 1996. In 2000, Dan Wangler was hired as a corporate account manager by Verity, Inc., where he sold enterprise solutions and Internet software for various business applications.
In late 2001, Mr. Wangler joined
Netegrity, Inc., where he assumed the position of central region senior account executive. This role involved leading direct sales efforts for enterprise security infrastructure and identity management software solutions. In 2004, he became sales director for the central region at Credant Technologies. This role involved securing contracts with notable companies such as Sears, Marathon Oil, Farmers Insurance, and State Farm.
Mr. Wangler left Credant Technologies in 2010 to join the startup Veracode, Inc., as its central region sales director. Here, he helped the company increase its revenue to $60 million within the first three years of its launch. Moreover, he helped the company increase its customer base to 15 enterprise accounts and generate over $8.5 million in annual subscription software revenue.
Today, Mr. Wangler is an account executive with Oracle. Since 2014, he has been integral to leading direct revenue for the company’s Java security and virtualization technologies and negotiating complex licensing deals with other company teams. His accomplishments include ranking as a top revenue producer in the Java Global Business Unit multiple times and being awarded Top Salesperson Companywide in 2022.
