Dan is a seasoned entrepreneur with multiple successful exits in the retail and automotive industries. He was part-owner, president, and general manager of Alternative Services, Inc., a Tier 1 automotive supplier to General Motors, employing 70 associates and generating $2+ million in sales annually. Retiring from Alternative Services in 2003, Dan
decided that he wanted to share his knowledge and passion for entrepreneurship through community service and business counseling.
In 2007, Dan joined the Rocket Ventures team, with responsibilities for sourcing qualified deal flow, mentoring start-up companies, and serving on the boards of his invested clients. Dan is the past Chairman of the Board for Nextronex Energy Systems and currently serves on multiple boards of directors. In 2011, Dan was appointed President & Director of Rocket Ventures
Dan has been a volunteer with SCORE for six years, a statewide board member for the Ohio Peerspectives Program, and a Business Advisor and Judge for both the Ohio Statewide Graduate Student Competition and the Bowling Green State University Entrepreneur Program. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Management and Marketing from Davis & Elkins College in Elkins, WV.
