As Numetric's vice president of engineering, Dave is responsible for Numetric's core technologies, product development, deployment, and operations.
Dave brings over 13 years of software development and management experience gained through various leadership roles at Rincon Research Corporation and Raytheon Missile Systems. He credits
these opportunities with his ability to speak multiple "languages" in the technical arena, which brings disparate teams together and makes effective use of both hardware and software. One of his most meaningful accomplishments is building an end-to-end data processing platform with near real-time performance, which involved over 200 million records a day for over three years with minimal downtime.
Prior to joining Numetric, Dave spent his days as a rocket scientist and participated in the use of the SM-3 missile to deorbit a satellite. In his free time, Dave enjoys spending time with family, playing pickup basketball and helping move the open-source effort forward.
Dave holds a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from Brigham Young University
